John Wiley Professional/Trade Publishing purchased approximately 250 teacher education titles from Prentice Hall Direct

May 24, 2002 — Stephen Kippur, Executive Vice President and President, Professional/Trade Publishing of John Wiley & Sons, Inc. (NYSE:JWa) (NYSE:JWb), today announced that Wiley has acquired approximately 250 teacher education titles from Prentice Hall Direct, part of Pearson Education. The terms of the sale, which closed on May 24th, were not disclosed.
