Berkery Noyes, an independent investment bank, today announced that John Guzzo, Managing Director in the firm’s Financial Technology Group, has been named as a winner of The M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 Award.

The 40 Under 40 Award is bestowed upon leaders in M&A who have achieved a significant level of success in their careers before reaching the age of 40. Mr. Guzzo was chosen by an independent panel of distinguished business leaders based on his accomplishments in the investment banking industry.

The M&A Advisor will introduce the winners and finalists on May 3, 2012 at a black tie awards gala in New York City.

In his current role, Mr. Guzzo co-heads Berkery Noyes’ Financial Technology Group. He has worked on over 80 M&A transactions during his career, representing more than $3 billion in value. Mr. Guzzo has distinct expertise pertaining to the banking sector. He is frequently featured in the press and has published articles in leading trade journals such as Mortgage Banking Magazine. Mr. Guzzo earned his B.A from Fordham University and his MBA from Columbia University.
