Berkery, Noyes & Co. represents Pearson Education in its investment in Boxer Learning

NEW YORK, October 26, 2000 — Boxer Learning, an award-winning online education provider, announced today a strategic minority investment by Pearson, the world’s largest education publisher and a leader in online learning.

In connection with this investment, Pearson Education will provide Boxer Learning with a valuable distribution partnership. Effective immediately, Boxer Learning’s middle and high school mathematics curriculum products will become part of the core offering of CCC NovaNET. CCC NovaNET represents the union of Computer Curriculum Corporation and NovaNET, a recently combined business within NCS Pearson, the leading provider of assessment testing and educational software and learning solutions to K-12 schools. CCC NovaNET and Boxer Learning will work together on an exclusive basis to distribute Boxer Learning’s courseware to schools in the United States and abroad. This agreement includes Boxer Learning’s flagship Internet-based product BOXERmath.COM as well as its CD-ROM courseware.
